About Us​

Unite is the largest union representing staff at the FCA. The FCA branch is run by your colleagues and they have been chosen by their fellow members. The branch works to give members a voice on all aspects of their employment. The branch has the support from Unite the union which represents thousands of workers in financial services and other industries. Together we can be heard.

Unite at the fCA

Unite has been active at the FCA since its formation and is recognised to represent staff at other regulators including the Bank of England. The members of Unite at the FCA want:

  1. The best possible outcome for staff in terms of their pay and working conditions;
  2. Recognition for Unite so that we can negotiate on behalf of members; and,
  3. To make the FCA a fairer place to work.

We will campaign to secure recognition for the union so that we can represent staff in their negotiations. And we will work to give colleagues a place to air their views and make their voice heard as a group.

Unite’s finance and legal sector is comprised of over 130,000 members throughout all major employers in banking and insurance. Unite campaigns on the issues important to our members, including pay, job security, pensions, equal pay, targets, unpaid hours as well as stress and bullying.
